Well I tried to let this one go by unnoticed but I have been
emailed quite a few times (privately) about it (from list members). I am
a member of this list (because I enjoy raptors and general birding) and
saw the original post. I am very conscious of not being "commercial" on
this list, I don't want to offend or impose.
We work VERY hard to service ALL of our customers. "ALL"
includes people in the store, people on the phone and people who email
us. Our staff does not ignore people in the store. If there was one
person on the floor and 5-6 people behind the desk, those 5 - 6 people
were most likely on the phone or looking up information for someone on
the sales floor. If you (or anyone for that matter) would like to email
me privately and discuss any particular situation, I would be happy to
go over it and make whatever improvements necessary. Customer service is
extremely important to me (as the Manager) and to this company. Thank

I went there 2 weeks ago and there was only 1 sales person; he was
helping
someone else when I walked in. He didn't acknowledge my presence in any
way.
I waited around 15 minutes or so. There was another customer that was
treated in a similar way. I felt he could have said something like "I'm
busy
with another customer, but will be with you in a bit" or something like
that. There were 5-6 people behind the desk while I was there and no one
from that area acknowledged my presence. I will not buy from Anacortes
Telescope. I am going to probably buy my Leica 77 APO scope with a 20-60
zoom from Eagle Optics.
