Four of us checked Ediz Hook between 9 and 11 today without finding the
LBBG, Interestingly there were many fewer gulls by the time we left at 11
AM.
Judy Mullally and I rechecked the gulls from about 5 to 6 PM. Again no
luck. We had just gotten our scopes out to check the gulls when something
caused all the gulls to take off from both sides of the harbor to fly out
to the Strait. Many came back but no LBBG could be found. I remain convinced
that the best time to try for it would be late afternoon or early evening. I
am hoping to try again tomorrow afternoon,
