Forgive the cut/paste from another message I sent. Does anyone know if the
Horned owl that used to be in residence in that area (6 years ago) is the
one or produced offspring?

i/we saw yesterday upon heading out, one horned owl..... on the east mox,
heading towards highway 8..... at first i thought it was a cat sitting on
top of a truck and as i got closer realized it was a horned owl.......
screech stop..... grab camera..... stealthyly :) creep closer to get
picture... the owl didn't move, for awhile... then it obliged me by flying
in front of me to the telephone wire where it made some ungodly noises for
awhile..... and i took more pictures and talked to it.... i thought maybe
it was a juvenile waiting to be fed...... but this morning i remembered
that the wildlife sanctuary that used to be around the corner (of late,
PAWS) had a free-flying resident horned owl that used to avail itself of
the amenities there... then the demands of the day pressed upon me and i
headed on... owl in rear view mirror still sitting there.....
