Otherwise wait for the beep at the end of the tape. Please give me good
directions, your fellow birdwatchers will appreciate it.

The EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE at Horan Natural Area at Confluence State Park in
Wenatchee WA continues to be seen. From US 2 at Wenatchee, eastbound or
westbound, follow signs to the state park. Very soon after entering the
park, take the first right turn, which goes to a small parking lot along the
Loop Trail, an asphalt trail. Walk the Loop Trail south, go over the bridge
over the Wenatchee River. Continue south on the Loop Trail for a little more
than a 0.25 miles to the wetlands interpretive station.

Nearby on 6 Sep, Dave Beaudette reports a dark-morph POMARINE JAEGER seen
from the Loop Trail at Walla Walla Point Park in Wenatchee. The trail
overlooks a small bay at the south end of Confluence State Park with nice
views of the Columbia River. Also along the trail was a CLAY-COLORED
SPARROW. Walla Walla Point Park can be reached by heading east from
Wenatchee Avenue onto Hawley Street. Follow the arterial to Walla Walla
Avenue. The park will be on the left on this street. After entering the park
go left, then right. The area is north of ballfield #1. WA DeLorme 67, A-6.

If you have any questions about birds on the report, call me before 9 pm at
208.883.0943. If you see any of the birds mentioned in this report, be sure
to let me know.

Good birding.
