That's really cool. Now if that was a cooper's hawk. The killdeer would have
meet its match in a foot race. Although the killdeer would known to fly
rather than out run cooper's (assuming the killdeer saw the approaching
cooper's). I was in Bellevue Sat. evening and saw a peregrine land on top of
the huge sky-scraper crane that's right next to the cheese cake factory.
That explains the reason why the starlings had flocked up and did their
ameoba flight.
