Subject: poor Band-tailed year?

The berries are in clusters. The tree is about 15 ft. tall. The limbs
and branches are thorny; the wood is soft, and easily cut. I've
posted two pictures of the birds and the treetop at
http://davidlyles.net/Band-tails.html
(The Band-tails have eaten all the purple berries off the visible
parts of the photos.)
