On Sept. 18th, at Duley Lake in Okanogan Co. a friend and I saw at
least 250 Sandhill cranes. See DeLorme, p. 101, 5C. There were 6
shorebirds there also: 1 Long-billed Dowitcher, 3 Pectoral Sandpipers and
2 Baird's Sandpipers. As well as many Canada Geese and Ruddy Ducks, among
