Early on the morning of Sept. 20th the first VARIED THRUSHES of
the year were calling at our home on Mt. Pleasant, Skamania County. We
are located at 1,200' on the western end of the Columbia River Gorge
about six miles east of Washougal. The day before there were three
GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS at our feeders also the first of the fall for
here.
