hey all,

please accept my apologies for this off-topic message. i was hoping
that a few birders might want a place to stay while they visit my
fair city and its birds. of course, i'll sublet to non-birders, too!

university district apartment available for sublet for two months
at $350/mo, option to renew. five minutes' walk from campus and
many bus lines -- too numerous to name here! 2 blocks to trader
joe's and half-priced books, a half block away from the metro
theatre, located behind petco and the indoor sun shoppe! the room
is small, clean and quiet -- perfect for a serious student or
birdwatcher! it has two windows (eastern and southern exposure) so
the room is bright (you can keep plants) and, because this room is
on the third floor, you can leave the windows open without worrying
about visits from uninvited guests. small birds and fish okay (but
no cats or dogs). it is carpeted and has a closet. you will share a
nice-sized kitchen (complete with full-sized stove and dishwasher)
and bathroom with two other people in a co-ed building full of
professionals and college students (five people live on your floor,
11 people total in the entire building). everyone here is quiet and
respectful. washer/dryer and bike storage available in the basement.
on-street and off-street parking available. for more info, or to see
the room, please call the realtor at 206.547.9909 and ask to see #301
or call devorah at 206.794.5679.
