Tweets,

There was a juvenile PECTORAL SANDPIPER with two LEAST SANDPIPER early this
morning on the flats at the mouth of Issaquah Creek in Lake Sammamish State
Park. My notes on the Pec are as follows:

"Noticeably larger than nearby Least Sandpiper but similarly shaped (pudgy);
yellow legs; lots of breast streaking which ended abruptly in a line above
belly; dark ruddy cap was streaked and concolor with dark streaking on back;
pale superciliary; darkish bill shaped similar to Least (tapered, slightly
decurved); dark eye; very white belly and flanks, although latter had
alittle dinginess in spots; clear undertail coverts; rufous edged tertials
with dark centers; most other upperpart feathering had blackish centers
distinctly fringed with white with brown and rufous components; two white
lines bordered two rows of feathering [mantle and scapulars] on either side
of back; fed like a Least. Came as close as 25 ft; well seen under slightly
foggy conditions; seen with 10x40 Zeiss; 6:55 - 7:15 a.m."
