Vancouver Island must offer a lot of vulture amenities. After nine days,
we have the second highest total of ten years. Excellent weather proably
helps.
Tpsdau we had 540 turkey vultures for a grand total of 1900 and we're
barely half through.
Black Oystercatcheers are up to 15, Harlequins about 25 plus lots of
Rhinoceros Auklets, cormorants and other waterbirds. One of the highlights
has been 13 Orcas, quite close in.
