Hi, Tweets

Following up on the WDFW Conservation Patron donation thread - the WDFW
has another way to donate to their Diversity (non-game) Program. The money
that comes from the sale of Personalized License Plates is directed to the
Department of Fish and Wildlife for the research and management of wildlife
that are not hunted, fished, or trapped (turkey vultures!). Since 1974,
this has been the primary source of funding for the Diversity Program.

For information on Personalized License Plates and what the money goes to,
visit www.wa.gov/wdfw/viewing/plp. You can order the plates from the Dept.
of Licensing?s Specialized Plates web page (click on CARS on the left side
menu). There is a link to that page from the WDFW page. The initial sale
price is $44.40 of which $30.00 goes to the WDFW, then an annual $30.00
renewal fee; the WDFW gets $20.00 from that.

This is another way to support birds (and reptiles, amphibians,
butterflies
..)! And you can advertise your favorite bird!!

Cheers, Diann
