Subject: Orange-crowned Warbler/Rufous Question

Yesterday an Orange Crowned Warbler appeared in my yard in West Seattle, and
one was here today also. This is about a week earlier than usual.
Wonderful! First Female Rufous here today, but my resident first year male
Rufous seemed unimpressed. A question for Tweeter ornithologists: Do first
year Hummingbirds breed, specifically the Rufous? Our resident is not in
full adult plumage, and shows no interest in mating...or leaving, for that
matter. Life is good!
Cheers,

I just saw an Orange-crowned Warbler in my yard in a Red Alder. This is the
first time I've seen this bird this year! Hopefully the other warblers are
not far behind.
