The earlier, Tuesday?, reported American Avocets were seen by me on Thursday. I have been looking for them a persistence paid off! they must hang out in areas not seen easily so look hard. I have visited that area every day since Sunday and this is the first time I have found them. There are 10 black-necked stilts there as well.
