Subject: How DO you pronounce Guillemot?

It's one of those words which derives from the French,
but is pronounced based on what the British would say
(no, not freedom-mots).

So, "gill-eh-mot" is the most correct (like vox's, instead
of voh's). And we're again obliged to throw our High School
French out the window.

Though I have been know to use the term Gwee-eh-moh on
unsuspecting tourists...
