Those v-traps are used on a lot of dariy farms up north in Lynden. When I'm
up hunting with a fellow falconer, we will visit those traps and take the
starlings for hawk/falcon food. They do trap a lot, depends on the site and
the time of the season. Starling control is very neccessary, and so is house
sparrow control. Those guys are VERY nasty. You think it's bad when they
clear out your feeders. I would rather have that ANY day than them killing
my tree swallows or something.
