Several days ago I was digiscoping Tree Sparrows at my neighbor's nestboxes,
and ended up with a photo of a House Sparrow trying to yank one of the
swallows out of the nest box. The sparrow was unsuccessful on that attempt,
but I was surprised at how aggressive he was in reaching in and hauling it
part way out of the nest hole by grabbing the swallow by the neck. I
haven't trapped in the past, but...
