Hi Tweets,

I've been seeing a pair of pure white pigeons/doves in my neighborhood
recently, not a lick of another color in the plumage, very pink bill and
legs. No hint of color in the cere, if they have one and the eyes looked
dark, but I haven't had a real close look yet. (How come these dumb birds
keep flying around?) They looked more the size and shape of Band-tailed
Pigeons than Rock Doves, but that could have been the way they were
standing. Very cool looking. I'll try to get a pic if they stand still
long enough.

Quite a few (c. 100) Brants down at Golden Gardens, all the ones I could
ID were black.
