Since i've made my feeders Starling unfriendly:
suet feeder inaccessible
black sunflower seed doesn't seem to be their favorite
and the other birds seem to discourage them also!
the upside down thistle feeder

I still have Starlings, but they spend most of their time in the yard, of
which
it is not too much grass anymore, mostly garden and shrubs.

It's a comfortable balance.
