I appreciate the squirrel info that Tim Ryan posted. I'm aware of most of
it, but I wish, I wish that someone would tell me how to get squirrels to
keep from digging in planter pots. And it isn't the grey squirrels, it's
our native Douglas squirrel that is terrible at doing this. This *is*
bird-related, in a sense, because if we feed birds, many of us get
squirrels. I also like to garden and don't like my expensive plantings to
be aerated by little squirrel devils that are 'cute.' I've tried red pepper
flakes, but they seemed to think that was just fine - yum. If anyone has
any ideas, they would be very much appreciated.
