Saturday, April 19, 5:25, AM. Hi, this is Tom Aversa, reporting on a trip
yesterday, Thursday, at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Area, birding with
Steve Gerstle. The highlight was a couple of ROSS'S GEESE down on Old Lower
River Road, which is the road, in the area where the HARRIS'S SPARROW was
seen last month. Also had about 4 GREAT EGRETS in the area. Also of note was
a just fledged GREAT HORNED OWL found on Lower River Road, already out of the
nest.
Correction to Report for Tuesday, April 15, 8:46, AM. The report of the
LITTLE GULL seen at Point No Point was from Vic Nelson, Not Dick Nelson as
previously reported.
Birdbox last accessed Sunday, April 20, 4:29, AM.
