Hi, Tweets

This afternoon we were sitting out on my deck when a very loud strident
call echoed across the treetops. Unheard here ever before (in my records).
Both my son and I thought raven, but spent about fifteen minutes trying to
see the source of the one very loud call, which kept repeating every so
often. Local crows were mobbing it enthusiastically. Finally . . . it flew
and was, indeed, a raven. Quite a surprise and thrill to see one here in
Bothell.

Earlier in the day I heard my first black-throated grey warbler of the
season (in my yard).

Neat Easter!

Cheers, Diann
