Tweets,
I just noted an Osprey this morning on a nest on a large transmission tower across the street from Lake Ballinger, inside King Co. Hadn't noticed this nest site before.

Yo Tweets,
Late last summer a pair of Osprey built a nest on top of a telecommunications tower in the "prime wildlife habitat" of the Rainier Beach section of Seattle. They didn't produce young last summer. One of the pair returned to the nest at least by April 12 and a pair was first spotted on the nest on Apr 21. The nest is just south of the corner of Martin Luther King Jr Way and Henderson, 7/10 mile away from Lake Washington. It will be interesting to see if they make it in this marginal habitat.
