As a baseball fan and avid birdwatcher, I was dismayed to hear about the
reprehensible behaviour of pitcher Jae-kuk Ryu and his DELIBERATE assault on
a nesting endangered Osprey at your ball field. It appears Ryu had been
repeatedly told to stop trying to hit the birds, but he still chose to
ignore that. With the recovery of the injured male uncertain, it is unlikely
that the remaining adult female can successfully fledge her offspring (in
other words, these chicks most likely will die!).

What a public relations nightmare!

This idiot should not only be fined by Florida Fish and Wildlife, but also
by your team. Furthermore, Ryu should also be obliged to donate a
substantial amount to the Edgewater Animal Clinic as well as other Florida
conservation organizations (such as local Halifax River Audubon Society).

Shame on you Jae-kuk Ryu...I await to see how your organization responds to
your childlike, boorish behaviour.
