I think we need a happier Osprey story (many of you probably already
know this).

There has been a pair of osprey nesting on top of a power poll
overlooking the Cowlitz river in Lewis County for a number of years now.
This past winter the nest blew down and the local power company (who
have been worried for the birds safety) spiked the top of the poll to
prevent re-nesting there and then placed a new slightly taller,
non-electrified poll with a nest platform near to the original sight.
Well guys the birds are back nesting on their new and improved poll. I
can't recall the road names off hand but if anyone is interested, I'll
try to find them for you.
