On Friday 4/25 I birded the following locations under clear skies from
5:45-11AM. Birds of note:

Ocosta Third St: at least 6 singing Soras in the marsh at the start of the
road. They stopped vocalizing at 5:52. A few Dowitchers, Yellowlegs &
peeps were there at dawn, but many more after the tide had come in at 10

Bottle Beach: about 2500 shorebirds, in descending order of abundance:
Western Sandpiper, Dunlin, SB Dowitchers, Red Knots (about 20),
Black-bellied Plover, Semipalmated Plover, Greater Yellowlegs (2)

Midway Beach: about 300 shorebirds in the pools south of the road
intersection with the beach, but only a few small flocks flying over the
beach and stream estuary to the North.
Western Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, a very few Dunlin, 2 Semipalmated
Plovers, and one perched Peregrine, watching the assembly.
