While out at Ledbetter Point on Willapa Bay yesterday saw a raft of
Yellow-billed Loons, about twenty in count. They're in the midst of
changing to breeding plumage, quite different from Common, larger with
bright yellow bills. Weather, cold, windy with choppy waters. Also seen:
Common Ravens (pr)
Golden-Crowned Sparrows a Baker's dozen, all Male
Heard but not seen
Yellow=rumped Warblers
Swainson Thrush
Varied Thrush pair still in yard
Pond frogs (Leopard) finally appeared!
