If, like me, you make frequent use of the NextRAD weather radar on the
Intellicast web site to plan last-minute, local, birding expeditions on
rainy days, you'll want to know about NOAA's Aviation Digital Data Service
web site at http://adds.aviationweather.noaa.gov/

The NOAA web site has no ads or eye candy so it loads _much_ faster than
Intellicast. From the NOAA home page select the Radar tab, then select the
Seattle (ATX) or Portland (RTX) stations.
