Spending the next week or so in Port Hardy. On the drive up today, there
was a kettle of 7 Turkey Vultures above thee Elk Falls mill just north
of Campbell River (I cc'ed this to Tweeters so Diann could pick it up). Spring
is in full gallop today with White-crowned and Song Sparrows singing up
a storm. Also two Blue Grouse hooting across a lake at each other.
Looking out my hotel room, I see four 2nd calendar year Bald Eagles and
one adult. I miss the ocean.
