As of this August, I will no longer be a full-time subscriber of
Tweeters! I start my first year of college in mid-August, and my parents and
I have decided to take a road trip, as opposed to flying, to get to my future
alma mater: Cornell University. Although it's going to be a fast and
furious trip, I hope to squeeze in some birding on the way. Our route will
basically be the shortest route possible: from here east through Missoula,
MT; Cody, WY (unfortunately little Yellowstone NP); through the Bighorn Mts.
to Devil's Tower; Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands; through S. Minnesota;
Wisconsin to the upper peninsula of Michigan; into Canada (northern Lake
Huron); Toronto; back into the US to Buffalo; then finally to Ithaca. If you
happen to know any information on birding sites along the way that can
potentially produce good birds in a short amount of time, I would very much
appreciate it!

Thanks!
