My wife and I took our youngest daughter down to the Snoqualmie River valley
this afternoon. The highlight was, undoubtedly, two breeding plumage
Harris' sparrows. We found them in the company of about a dozen
white-crowneds and 3 golden-crowneds feeding on the road on 100th Street off
of West Snoqualmie Valley Rd. They were just west of where 100th makes a
slight right turn as it meets the river (Location E for those who have seen
my book).

Also, we saw 2 Virginia Rails, 2 Soras and a cinnamon teal in Sikes Lake.

Good Birding
