Dear folks,

We're a couple of Midwestern birders who will be touring the Olympic
peninsula next week. We're planning to check out Hurricane Ridge in the NP;
we're also staying at Lake Quinault a couple of nights. Anyway, I'm
wondering if anyone has seen anything interesting in those areas or along
101 (or if you know of any esp. interesting spots we should check out on the
peninsula). Sounds like most of the action now is down around Mt. Rainier,
which we're not going to make, due to time constraints. But it sure would
be nice to find a rosy-finch of some sort . . . or hermit warbler . . . :)

Anyway, any info appreciated.
