A young Black-headed Grossbeak has been visiting my feeders this past week.
Yeah! At least two adults (male and female) were regular visitors from spring
on, though I haven't noticed either for several days.

And I noted three immature Spotted Towhees foraging for seed on the ground.
The adults regularly come up to the balcony for seed that I scatter on the
soil around my potted shrubs. They also do a good job of cleaning the floor of
seed-fall from the feeders!
