Subject: Scissor-tailed flycatcher photos

Since the bird was nowhere to be found this morning I have posted
photos to my web site:
www.waders.org/gallery/scissor/index.html
There are enough features in the photos to verify the pictures were
taken at Montlake Fill and the report of me being seen at Sea-Tac
returning on a flight from Dallas are entirely untrue ;-)
The photos are not the best. They were taken around 8pm and the light
for digiscoping was awful. However the photos show all the essential
details though I did not get one with the tail spread you can see the
tail structure in the first and fourth photos.
Apologies for sending such a large file last night. In my rush to post
I messed up getting the file size small enough in Photoshop.
Attachments are not something I send but given the rarity of the bird
(apparently the 4 record for the state) I decided that including the
photo was the best way of confirming the record and getting the
information out to you as quickly as possible.
