Sorry for the belated report. I spent two hours--5:30 to 7:30 p.m--at the end of the Ocean Shores jetty on Friday, 7/18. At 6:55 p.m. I had a manx shearwater fly by in a tremendous feeding flock that was several hundred yards off the end of the jetty. I estimated 3000 sooty shearwater, 300 common murres, and 1000 heermann's gulls in this flock. Also had one tufted puffin fly by.
