No great shakes but just wanted to belatedly report that there were two ad.
PECTORAL SANDPIPERS at the W-90 on Sat, August 2, at the first pond, just
beyond the parking lot. All the other ponds further out were dry. There
was a sprinkling of other regulars, 4 each of Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs,
and LB Dowitcher. I'd say very slow overall for shorebirds, though, at both
the mudflats from the W-90 dike, and southward down at Jensen. Hopefully
things will pick up in the coming weeks.
Also there was a Peregrine this morn over West Farm Foods near the grain
silos along the waterfront just north of downtown Seattle.
