Just after noon I checked the east end of Alder Lake just west of Elbe. I spent about 1.5 hours. Shorebird species included approx. 70 Least Sandpipers, 40 Western Sandpipers, 1 Semipalmated Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Sandpiper, 1 Semipalmated Plover, 4 Baird's Sandpipers, 2 Osprey one of which was walking in about 6 inches of water along the Nisqually River.
