Greetings,

My brother Chris was hiking in the mountains of Vancouver Island and
photographed a couple of Baird's Sandpipers on a snowfield. The images can

Quite a few shorebird species migrate southward along the western mountains,
with Baird's believed to move mainly along the ridges.
