Sunday, August 10, 2003 at 3:17 p.m. Hi this is Denny Granstrand.
509-952-2550. Also at Perch Point were two SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, WESTERN
SANDPIPER, LEAST SANDPIPER, GREATER YELLOW LEGS, LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER,
and BLACK-NECKED STILT. Bye bye.

Sunday, August 10, 2003 at 3:06 p.m. Hi, this is Denny Granstrand,
Sunday afternoon, 3 o'clock. I am at Perch Point on the east side of
Potholes Reservoir, accessed from Road M Southeast turning west on Road
6 Southeast. Go about 2.8 miles until you come to a "Public Fishing"
sign. Turn left, which is south. On a gravel road, go 5/10ths of a mile
and then turn right on a dirt road. Go about 3/10ths of a mile and park.
That gets you on the south side of Perch Point. A GOLDEN PLOVER is
working around the entire lagoon with a flock of KILDEER. It is an adult
molting from breeding to basic plummage. That's it. Bye.

Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 11:48 p.m. Hi this is Sam Terry,
206-329-9038. Today at the Montlake Fill in Seattle, there was one
SOLITARY SANDPIPER on the southeast pond. That's it. Good luck and good
birding.
