Hi Tweets,

I took a couple precious hours out of my schedule this
morning for some shorebird photography at the montlake
fill. The overcast conditions allowed for good
photography without harsh contrasts much later into
the morning than usual. The shorebirds didn't
disappoint. My only problem was I didn't bring enough
extra film! Present this morning from about 10-12
were:

2 Spotted Sandpipers
1 Solitary Sandpiper
1 Long-billed Dowitcher
3 Killdeer
1 Baird's Sandpiper
~5 Western and 2 Least that kept moving around too
much to get a very good count on
