Hey tweets, When the Fill gives, it gives prodigally.

Yesterday I was there in the late afternoon, testing my precious, yes my
very precious, my own... I mean, my new camp stool. I think I'm in love. I
parked my keester on it inside the bushes of the main pond and watched two
solitary sandpipers, a spotted, 15 killdeer, a long-billed dowitcher, and a
few leasts. I sat so still that two common yellowthroats almost hopped onto
my foot, until they realized that I was alive and not the statue they had
thought. An empidonax made the same mistake but caught on more quickly, too
quickly for me to see more than that it was *not* an olive-sided flycatcher,
nor a western wood-pewee, nor did it have the teardrop eyering of a Pacific
slope. Might have been a willow, but I couldn't swear to it - a willow would
definitely be the most likely. However, if I could just guess freely, I'd
say it looked most like a least, mainly because its feathers looked so worn,
but I wouldn't have expected that to appear in the willows close to the main
pond. Naturally it made no sound that I could connect with its lips. I was
hearing a lot of whits, but the yellowthroats were whitting away like mad.
Oh those flycatchers.
