So far today, I've received 3 infected emails with this virus. I subscribe to an internet filter that does not deliver virus-infected mail, so I do not know how harmful this one is. In all cases, the part of the email address that comes after the at sign was "u.washington.edu" (possible picked up from my incoming mail) which makes it look legit, but the name in front of the at was unfamiliar.

Hi Tweeters,

Sorry for the virus message, they often end up being hoaxes but I Norton scanned a message with an attachment from one of the Tweeters regular posters and came up with a Sobig virus. It was sent to me privately, not via the listserve. So be careful out there. I will let them know.

Kathy
