While I was doing some garden maintenance on Wednesday afternoon, a juvenile
Rufous Hummingbird came straight in to the Cape Fuchsia to feed from the red
flowers. I could feel the air, created by the wingbeat, against my leg. Maybe
in my green trousers, green shirt and red hair I looked like another Cape
Fuchsia. The Cape Fuchsia and Jupiter's Beard are hummers' favorites.
