Spent about 3 hrs at Thomas pond in Kent again this morning. I was also
there last saturday for a while. As others have said, it is a very good spot
for the peeps. I was able get photographs Saturday of the Pectoral Sandpiper
as well as the Western and Least and Lesser Yellowlegs. Today I was able to
add the Baird's. I keep looking for the Semi-palmated but haven't been able
to spot one yet. My thanks to Marv Breece for telling me what to look for on
the Baird's and also to Carole Schulz for confirming it when I did see it. I
have posted pictures on a new site I'm working on. This link should take you
there; http://www.pbase.com/jvhigbee/current
