Dave Beaudette and I spent the morning searching for migrants in several
locations in central Grant County.

No migrant fallout was seen, but reasonable numbers of migrants were noted
in the locations birded. Here is a list of the birds observed for the day.

Moses Lake Community Park (formerly Moses Lake State Park):
Olive-sided Flycatcher - 1
Western Wood-Pewee - 1
Eastern Kingbird - 7
Warbling Vireo - 4
Bewick's Wren - 3 (local but increasing in Grant County)
Orange-crowned Warbler - 3
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 3 "Audubon's"
Townsend's Warbler - 10
Yellow Warbler - 18
MacGillivray's Warbler - 3
Wilson's Warbler - 2
Western Tanager - 4
Bullock's Oriole - 1 juvenile
Black-headed Grosbeak - 3

Potholes State Park:

GRAY FLYCATCHER - 1 well seen and observed, exhibiting the classic tail drop
behavior.
Warbling Vireo - 2
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Nashville Warbler - 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 4 "Audubon's"
Townsend's Warbler - 3
Yellow Warbler - 12
MacGillivray's Warbler - 1
Wilson's Warbler - 1
Black-headed Grosbeak - 1

Sand Dunes Road:

Bewick's Wren - 3 (local but increasing in Grant County)
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 1
MacGillivray's Warbler - 1
