Subject: Birds? Rats!

Could your rat be a bushy-tailed woodrat (Neotoma cinerea)?

Personally, I'd remove the feeders. I don't have feeders and I have birds.
Since you obviously live in an area where you still have non-urbanized
habitat, why would you want to attract feeder-dependent birds?

Create habitat, not handouts.

> On a non-work related note, does anyone know how to keep a rat away from a
bird feeder? I have one brown rat (with a fuzzy tail, which is odd) who
just loves my bird feeder.
