Subject: tweeters viruses

Bruce,

Just a quick clarification. Macs do not spread viruses to Windows. At
least this is not the case with the viruses and worms appearing right now
and with the exception of macro viruses that used to spread between users
of Word on all platforms, I don't believe Macs have been able to spread
any viruses to Windows users whatsoever.

My vote, if we are taking one on this topic, is to avoid putting the
TWEETERS at the beginning of each email. Anyone can set up filters in
their email client to make sure that email from this list ends up in a
Tweeters folder on their machine, and adding the TWEETERS to the
beginning of each post will just make it harder to figure out what the
topic of each message is about. I already know the mail is about birding
and from Tweeters due to the way I have my email filtered when it comes
onto my Mac. Another labeling requirement would just be redundant.

Happy birding to all this holiday weekend!

Rob
