>From around 10:30-12 Noon (Aug. 30) I walked out searching for the Clay-colored Sparrow and Ash-throated Flycatcher between the 2'nd and 3'rd barns at Steigerwald NWR. Birds seen included the following: Osprey, Northern Harrier, Red-tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Peregrine Falcon, Mourning Doves, Great Horned Owl (in the 1'st barn), Belted Kingfisher, Pileated Woodpecker, Willow, Hammond's, Dusky Flycatchers (1 each), 2 Purple Martins, Cedar Waxwings, Common Yellowthroats, Wilson's Warbler, Clay-colored Sparrow, tons of House Finches, and American Goldfinches. I could not locate the Ash-throated Flycatcher which was a 'County First' yesterday. Good find, Wilson!
