Subject: Discovey Park Warblers

I had five warblers this morning including four
Townsends, at least as many Yellow and Orange-crowned,
a single Wilson's and one Black-throated Gray. A
mixed flock that I watched for about 45-minutes also
had both chickadees, a Bewick's Wren, Yellow-crowned
Kinglet (less common this time of year in my
experience) and Hutton's and a Warbling Vireo. These
were seen in the trees at the far end of the North
Parking lot field and at the intersection of the Loop
trail and the Hidden Valley trail. Flycatchers and
Swallows were absent and no shorebirds.
