On Saturday, August 30, we had a pretty good sized flock of birds
attracted to our drip waterer on Mt. Pleasant, Skamania County. There
were around 10 AMERICAN ROBINS, 14 RED-EYED VIREOS, 8 ORANGE-CROWNED
WARBLERS, 10 YELLOW WARBLERS, 12 BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLERS,1 HERMIT
WARBLER, 2 WILSON'S WARBLERS, 1 BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK,and 6 WESTERN
TANAGERS visible in the trees at one time. The birds had moved on in less
than an hour and the towhees and Song Sparrows had the bird bath to
themselves again.
